Do you just need a decent starter bar to bench press with? This bar will do the job. It's an economy bar, but it is stronger than some cheapo bars included in 300lb weight sets sold at other places. This bar is included in most 300lb weight sets sold here.

51 7/8" grippable length between collars.

This bar is not designed to be dropped with bumper plates. The bolts and/or the bar itself will bend.

Environment: Casual lifting at home. It just isn't strong enough for high-use environments.
